Is Brock Lesnar The "Prophet" Returning On Jan 2nd?

Brock Lesnar
Now that Brock Lesner has officially retired from UFC on December 30th, that is just in time for the "Prophet" who is scheduled to return to the WWE on January 2nd, which would be just in time for the Royal Rumble, which could put him into the main event of Wrestlemania.

Most speculation has been around Chris Jericho being the "Prophet" but that was when Brock Lesnar was still in UFC and had a chance to go for the title. But now that he lost the match and did not get his title shot he announced his retirement and has walked away from the UFC just in time. But how could the WWE have known he would lose and retire before the deadline stated in the promos? Some rumours have already said Brock knew he was going to lose and retire afterwards, some have even said he threw the fight. Personally, I think Brock is too competitive to throw a fight, however I do think he had to know going into the fight what his chances were of winning. He knew he wasn't 100% and not in any condition to make another run at the title. I think he was already exploring other options now that his UFC paydays are over. He already worked out a deal with the WWE to be in their newest game WWE 12 and that's when talks of his WWE return started. He has never denied them, only saying that his UFC career would have to be over and the right match would have to come up. Well his UFC career is now over and the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania are coming up. Those would be two huge paydays for Brock, and he could put a better end on his WWE career.

The part of those promos that confused me was the fact that there was a girl with him and she made it sound like she was coming back with him. Well Brock's wife is former WWE Diva Sable. Is it possible that Brock and Sable are going to be returning to the WWE on Monday?

CHRIS
Crossed Out?
People have also pointed out that the name Chris was on the cover of the book. So that would make people think it was Chris Jericho. However, the name Chris was actually crossed out. So maybe that is their way of saying it will NOT be Chris Jericho. Almost as if it was going to be him, but that idea has been crossed out. That would explain why Chris Jericho has been so furious and denying all the questions about the rumours. He keeps saying he will never wrestle again and that he will never come back to the WWE again. It sounds like he is either trying to throw us off the trail, or he is really mad at the WWE and has walked away for good. It was said that he was very upset when they left him out of the WWE 12 game. It cost him at least 5 figures in royalties and he has been bitter ever since. Conveniently, WWE did put Brock in the game instead. That kind of tells me that the WWE is currently on better terms with Brock than they are with Jericho.

I don't know, I may be putting my foot in my mouth here, Jericho has been the obvious answer all along. But the timing just seems to fit with Brock, the part with the girl even fits, and he is in WWE 12 and Jericho isn't. I am going to possibly make a huge fool of myself right now, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the "Prophet" is not Chris Jericho but rather Brock Lesner!

Do you Agree or Disagree? What do you think?

I think who ever it is will win the Royal Rumble and go on to main event Wrestlemania with CM Punk for the WWE Championship. So who would make the best opponent for CM Punk? I think the GTS vs the F5 would be pretty cool. But then again, CM Punk has recently started referring to himself as "the best in the world" while Chris Jericho always refereed to himself as being "the best in the world at what I do" so maybe this will be the match to find out once and for all who is the "best."

On top of all that, Stone Cold Steve Austin has said publicly that he has one match left in him and he wants it to be against CM Punk. Could Stone Cold Steve Austin be the "Prophet" or is that just wishful thinking?

I know its all hard to believe, but this has been the year of the comeback, the year of the return in the WWE. We have seen the return of Kevin Nash, Booker T, Mick Foley, The Rock, Masked Kane, Triple H, and at Wrestlemania we will hopefully see one last return of The Undertaker.

Would it be too much to think that maybe we could also see the return of either Chris Jericho, or Brock Lesnar (and maybe Sable), or Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Brock Lesnar Retires From UFC

With the impressive first round TKO, Overeem earns a shot at UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos and a chance to finally collect his most sought-after title.

In defeat, Lesnar chose to hang up his gloves, having made a promise to his family to retire from the sport soon anyway. Humbly, Lesnar announced his retirement in the cage.

"My hat's off to Alistair Overeem. I wanna take my hat off to all my training partners, my wife, my family. I've had a really difficult couple of years, with my disease. I'm gonna officially say, tonight is the last night you'll see me in the Octagon," Lesnar announced emotionally. "I wanna thank everybody. I wanna thank the Fertittas, Dana White. Brock Lesnar is officially retired, I promised my wife and my kids if I won this fight I would get my title shot and that would be my last fight, and that if i lost tonight - everybody, you've been great. Alistair, it's been a pleasure."

Lesnar, a former UFC heavyweight champion, retires with a 5-3 record.

Bragging Rights > Capital Punishment

WWE will be doing away with the Capitol Punishment pay-per-view in 2012 and replacing it with the returning Bragging Rights pay-per-view, which didn't take place in 2011. Bragging Rights is scheduled for June 17th, 2012 and is set to air on the WWE Network.

Torrie Wilson Dating Alex Rodriguez

Sources say that former WWE/WCW Diva Torrie Wilson has been spotted with Yankees 3rd Baseman Alex Rodriguez.

They were seen at the gym, in Idaho over the holidays where Torrie's family lives and taking a bike ride together.

Earlier this year, Torrie was seen in Mexico, where Rodriguez was vacationing with George Clooney and Torrie's old friend Stacy Keibler.

Bobby Lashley Says He'd Like To Return To WWE

Bobby Lashley says that he would like to return to WWE sometime in the future. He noted in an interview that he has "unfinished business" and that "there's still something's to accomplish in WWE."

"I'm completely open to going back, I would love to come back and do something big if there was an opportunity presented, I would definitely consider it," he said. "While I would do it, if the chance never came my way then I would be completely content in continuing with what I'm doing at the moment and that's continuing wrestling and trying to become the best possible fighter I can be."

Randy Orton Injured... Will Miss Wrestlemania

At the Smackdown taping on Tuesday, in a falls count anywhere match, Wade Barrett threw Randy Orton down a flight of stairs. It was announced the next day that Randy Orton would be out of action for 6 months because of a torn disk in his back. This means that Randy Orton will have to miss the Royal Rumble and even Wrestlemania.

However, it's possible that Randy Orton's back injury didn't actually happen on Tuesday but rather on the December 19th episode of Raw. Since then Randy Orton has been essentially put on light duty. He has been working mid-card matches and not taking any serious bumps.

It was also announced that Sheamus will be taking Orton's place in SmackDown live events this week against Barrett. WWE has also moved Primo and Epico vs. Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston to the SmackDown tour to help solidify the line-ups with Randy Orton out of action.

Wade Barrett tweeted the following last night regarding Randy Orton's injury: "Look, what happened at the taping was tragic. However, there are inherent risks in our profession. Play with fire, you get burned."

WWE will be offering refunds at SmackDown live events to anyone who wants them, since Orton won't be appearing.

WWE.com reported Thursday that company physician Dr. Michael Sampson examined Randy Orton and said he suffered a herniated disc on the L4-L5 level on the left side, which has resulted in pain and weakness down his leg.

"He's going to need some time off for rehab, anti-inflammatory medications and physical therapy," said Dr. Sampson.

It's All Cole's Fault!

Although details are sketchy, WWE has reportedly changed creative plans this week for several top stars including The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth and current WWE Champion CM Punk.

WWE officials held a meeting last week after the RAW ratings came in where Michael Cole's commentary was discussed. TV ratings patterns show fans have little interest in seeing anyone on TV besides the top Superstars.

Consideration was given to the fact that maybe this is because of Cole burying the talents for the past year.

Zack Ryder Being Demoted Already

Along the same lines as the rumours of CM Punk being blamed for low Raw ratings, and being forced to drop the WWE Championship soon, Zack Ryder is also being blamed for the low ratings and has already been demoted. He was finally given a shot at the United States Championship which he won from Dolph Ziggler. The next night on Raw he was in the six-man tag-team main event. CM Punk, Zack Ryder, and Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, and The Miz. The match drew poor ratings. WWE has decided to blame CM Punk and Zack Ryder.

It is rumored that Punk will be dropping the belt very soon, most likely to Dolph Ziggler, and while Zack Ryder will be keeping the United States Championship, he will no longer be pushed into the main event. Instead he is now being pushed back down to the mid-card, in a romantic angle with Eve. Instead of chasing another title like Cody Rhodes' Intercontinental Championship, or the Tag-Team Championships, or even a World Championship, Zack will be flirting with Eve backstage and having Mix-Tag matches like what he did this past week on Raw when the two (Zack and Eve) challenge Tyson Kidd and Natalya.

Is this really fair? Zack finally gets his big break and a week later he is back to fighting opening matches with Tyson Kidd? I think the WWE needs to start blaming themselves and not the top talent in the company!

I Guess Zack Ryder Is The New Lady's-Man In The WWE

Chris Benoit Will Never Be In The Hall Of Fame
