Leading up to TNA's Destination X PPV there was lots of hype about how in TNA really started the X Division. The storyline goes that Eric Bishoff wanted to get rid of the X Division entirely and that's why he had Abyss win the X Division Title and rename it the Xtreme Title. Then of course The Brian Kendrick challenged Abyss on behalf of the entire X Division roster to bring back the X Division Title. This would take place at Destination X, a PPV devoted entirely to X Division wrestlers and X Division style wrestling.
Wrestlers like Amazing Red, Robbie E, Alex Shelley, Shannon Moore, Kazarian, and Samoa Joe were featured on the PPV. TNA also brought back previous X Division stars like Low Ki and Austin Aries and offered them a chance to win a new TNA contract, as well as new X Division style wrestlers such as Zema Ion and Jack Evans (who shocked the world by debuting a new high risk maneuver known as the 630 splash, which is essentially a 450 splash with another half rotation causing him to crash onto his opponent on his back instead of his chest).

Well as expected this match was phenomenal, and as expected AJ Styles defeated Christoper Daniels proving that he is the greatest X Division Wrestler.
