Three Greatest Wrestling Minds

Great Minds
I have been putting down Triple H for doing such a poor job of running the WWE. I also wrote about Jack Tunney the figurehead of the WWF in the 1980's and how I thought he was a good character to run the company. I also have a poll going right now on my blog asking who everyone thinks was the best General Managers of either Raw or Smackdown, or who was the best figurehead ever. I think its funny that there has not been a single vote so far for either of the current GM's (Teddy Long or the Anonymous Raw General Manager lol). Thought since Triple H took over they have both basically been put out of work as Triple H is now the boss on both shows, and a poor one at that.

Well looking back, the ones who should be considered the best, but not just as a company figurehead but as the actual person running the company are: Vince McMahon, Eric Bischoff, and Paul Heyman.

Vince's father started the WWWF, which turned into the WWF, and Vince took it over, bought it from his dad, and turned it into the WWE powerhouse that it is today. That is until his son Shane failed to take over, his daughter Stephanie failed to take over, and Vince passed his company on to Stephanie's Husband Triple H.

Eric Bishoff took Ted Turner's failing WCW and turned it into the top wrestling company in the world for a few years. He created the New World Order, transformed Hulk Hogan, Sting, and many others into mega-stars after their careers had faded away from their 1980s characters and made them into modern 1990s superstars. No one ever gives him the created he deserved because WCW eventually lost to Vince. But that wasn't Eric's fault, by then WCW had fired him and hired Vince Russo who ruined the company. The real proof that Eric was the best was the fact that Vince hired him to run Raw, and while Eric was in charge Raw was at its all time best!

WCW
New World Order
Paul Heyman created ECW, he invented Extreme wrestling, and revolutionized the wrestling business which had become boring and dull (much like it is today). While Vince was still making boring 1980s cartoon characters, and Eric was just starting to turn things around with the NWO, Paul came along and made the most exciting wrestling company in the world. Had they had the money and the television that WCW and WWE had they would have exploded and been the biggest of the three. They were run out of business quickly which shows how much they intimated the big two companies. Also, the fact that both companies were constantly in bidding wars for the ECW stars. Every time ECW made a rookie into a huge star they would sign with either WCW or WWE, usually WWE because by then they were winning and had more money.

ECW
When Vince won the war, he bought WCW and ECW and put them both out of business. He took all the stars that had been made popular and ruined them one by one. Then he ruined the names of each company. Eventually Eric and Paul left the WWE and they were replaced by a former referee Teddy Long, and a computer on Raw (which I'm sure was just Michael Cole, the announcer). Since then WWE has fallen apart and I can't stand to watch it anymore. Meanwhile, Eric went with Hulk Hogan and took over TNA wrestling which is now the best company in my opinion.

Its too bad. Vince, Eric, and Paul should put their brains together and run one big company, sign all the best talent in the world and give the fans what they really want and deserve!
