Edge Hall Of Fame 2012

It was announced on Raw that Edge will be the first inductee into the WWE Hall Of Fame class of 2012. They later announced that the second inductee would be the Four Horsemen. I had assumed Edge would be waiting until Wrestlemania was back in Toronto, which was rumored to be next year. I also assumed Trish Stratus would be getting inducted in the same class as Edge and they would both be getting inducted in Toronto. However, since Edge is getting inducted this year in Miami I can't help but think that Wrestlemania will not be coming to Toronto next year. So while I'm thrilled Edge is going in the Hall Of Fame, I'm disappointed Wrestlemania isn't coming to Toronto any time soon and we won't get to see Edge go in the Hall Of Fame in his hometown.

Christian and Shawn Michaels went on Twitter to congratulate Edge for his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, which will take place the night before WrestleMania XXVIII.

"A gigantic, enormous congratulations to Edge on his Hall of Fame induction. Unbelievably well deserved & I could not be happier for him!!!" wrote Michaels, a fellow WWE Hall of Famer.

Christian added, "Edge… Hall Of Fame… No one deserves it more #YouThinkYouKnowMe."

Edge stated during an interview with Aftermath on The Score Monday night that if the choice is his, Christian will induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Vickie Guerrero: "I'm so happy for Edge and The 4 Horsemen getting inducted into the Hall of Fame….well deserved"

Jim Ross wrote the following this afternoon in regards to Horseman Ole Anderson not being inducted with the others and Ric Flair appearing: "Don't know status of Ole Anderson re: WWE HOF. Knowing Ole, he likely could care less. Will Flair be @ ceremony? Wouldn't surprise me. TBD."
