Brock Lesnar Snapped Backstage

According to PWInsider.com, Brock Lesnar blew up after the Extreme Rules pay-per-view this past Sunday night, and began tearing apart a dressing room.

Lesnar apparently felt double crossed by the promo that John Cena cut at the end of the show. The original plan was for Cena to be hurt so badly that he would have to have been carried out of the building, allowing Lesnar to claim that the loss was a fluke.

The report goes on to note that the angle on RAW last night was the original plan all along to remove Lesnar from TV, since his current deal only calls for a minimum of two dates per month.

The full story I am hearing is that the original plans called for Cena to be taken away from the ring on a stretcher, completely unable to move due to all of the injuries caused by Lensar. This was to imply that the victory was a total fluke and Lensar actually won the fight since he was able to walk away and Cena wasn't (much like Triple H vs The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 27). If you watch the PPV, at the end just before Cena went to get the mic he indicated to the crew around the ring with a gesture as if to say no to something like he wasn't going to do it. Clearly this meant don't bring out the stretcher because he wasn't going to use it. Instead, he got the mic and said his speech. This is what made Lesnar go nuts backstage. Lesnar felt that Cena had double crossed him just to make him look bad. Lesnar only agreed to the loss because he was promised that Cena would look like he had been destroyed and it was a fluke. Instead, Cena just tried to play it off like he wasn't really that hurt and he proved to be the better man. He totally screwed Lensar. I can understand why he snapped backstage.

The whole part with him being taken off TV was planned because his contact only requires him to appear twice a month. So they will need to have excuses each month for why he is not on TV. He is apparently also only required for the major PPVs, such as SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and of course Wrestlemania. It is believed that after Wrestlemania he will leave the WWE for good.

The only issue still up in the air is who gets to face Lesnar at these couple PPVs. Clearly something is being built up between Brock and Triple H. It is very strongly rumored that Brock vs Triple H will be the main event at SummerSlam. Randy Orton is also pretty much guaranteed a match with Lesnar as well. Lesnar is apparently requesting The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, but that one seems doubtful to me.

The only problem is that the WWE has apparently changed their minds about how they want to use Brock. Or at least gone back on what they promised him. They are reportedly not interested in putting him over since he is leaving at the end of the year. Instead they want to use him to put over their talent which is staying. It makes sense, why have someone like Randy Orton lose to Brock if Brock is going to leave and Randy is going to stay. So while it makes sense I can't help but feel disappointed if the plan is just for Brock to show up part time and lose to everyone. That's disappointing. And based on how badly they screwed him over in his first match back, I wouldn't even bother to stick around if I was Brock. So I wouldn't be surprised if the whole Triple H angle turned out to be Brock's storyline to just leave the WWE.
