Raw Report... Starring Brock Lesnar

Raw opened with a new opening scene which ended with pictures of Brock Lesnar instead of John Cena and the final shot was a picture of Brock Lensar and the words "Monday Night Raw Starring Brock Lesnar" just like Brock demanded the week before. Brock was in the ring with the GM but they were interrupted by Triple H, who was there to inform Brock that he would not be getting any of the things he demanded the week before. Triple H said he wanted Brock to stay but would not give him any of those things and Brock was welcome to leave. Brock snapped and attacked Triple H with repeated punches before locking on the arm hold that injured John Cena. The reports say that Brock broke Triple H's arm.

Then they announced there would be a Beat The Clock Challenge to determine the new number one contender for CM Punk's WWE Championship. I guess Chris Jericho is out of the picture, although he did take part in the tournament.

First match, The Miz defeated Santino Marrella and set the time to beat. Next Jericho defeated The Big Show by count-out but just 1 second after the time limit ran out. In the third match Randy Orton defeated Jack Swagger and broke the time limit by 2 seconds. I was sure Randy Orton would be the winner. The fourth match was between Kane and The Great Khali. This match was boring and the time limit expired without a winner. Afterwards Kane chokeslamed Khali. The fifth and final match was between Daniel Bryan and Jerry Lawler... yes that's what I said, Jerry The King Lawler the announcer. Bryan went on to win the match and break Orton's time making him the new number one contender for CM Punk's WWE Championship.

Go figure. Punk gets whatever he wants now, so after bringing back Jericho just to lose to Punk, now Punk get to face his best friend at the next PPV. But what I don't understand is that the promo shown for the next PPV Over The Limit, the only wrestler featured was Randy Orton, which would indicate he was the star of the show. That is why I assumed Randy would win the Beat The Clock challenge. But he didn't.

The Bella Twins got their rematch against the new Divas Champion Layla. It was a triple threat match, but more like a 2 on 1 handicap match. Unfortunately for the Bellas they couldn't get along and Layla took advantage of that. Layla drop kicked one Bella into the other, knocking the second out of the ring. Layla then rolled up the first for the pin and the win. After the match it was announced that the Bellas had been fired by the WWE. (More On This To Follow).

The Tag-Team Championships finally changed hands, as R-Truth and Kofi Kingston defeated Epico and Primo. Its about time is all I can say. I assumed this would have happened at Wrestlemania, or the following Raw, but they waited a couple months longer than they should have in my opinion. I think Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger will win the titles soon as well. I feel bad that the Usos keep getting overlooked though.

Kofi Kingston commented on winning the WWE Tag Team Championship belts on Raw, writing on Twitter, "Well hot damn! What do we have here?! @RonKillings and @TrueKofi New Tag Team Champions!!! Yezzir!!" Zack Ryder also congratulated the team posting, "Congrats to @TrueKofi & @RonKillings."

In the main event John Cena came out with his arm in a sling and announced it was not broken just strained muscles and he would compete at the next PPV. The GM was supposed to announce his opponent. Lord Tensai came out with his manager and they were set to attack Cena. The GM then struck Cena in the back of the head with the mic and then they all attacked Cena. It was then revealed that Cena would face John Laurinaitis at Over The Limit... What a joke!

Honestly, when the GM said he was going to announce John Cena's mystery opponent for Over The Limit I was positive that he was going to introduce Batista. Not just because it would be my choice but because it made sense. Recently, after Brock Lesnar returned, Batista announced on Twitter that his agent would be making a serious announcement about him returning somewhere very soon (apparently it was a joke and he announced he moved back to where he used to live). But it would have made perfect sense, since the GM wants someone to take out Cena... why not bring back the guy that broke John Cena's neck? And when they had their rematch and Cena put Batista in a wheelchair and caused him to quit the WWE, that match took place at the PPV Over The Limit. So it would be a perfect fit if Batista returned at Over The Limit and took out John Cena and put him out for this long vacation Cena claims he is going to finally be taking!
