Wrestlemania XXX

There was a great build up to this years Wrestlemania, and for the first time it was available on the new WWE Network. Too bad the network still isn't available in Canada.

The pre-show match was decent. The Uso's held onto the Tag-Team Championships. The good part of the pre-show was that Cesaro finally turned on Jack Swagger. That team was just holding Cesaro back!

The opening to the show was amazing. Hulk Hogan came out first. He called the "Superdome" the "Silverdome" and the audience didn't like that. But then Stone Cold Steve Austin came out and the crowd went crazy. For the first time in history, the two biggest names in wrestling history were together at the same time in the same ring. It might be wrong, but I wanted to see Austin use the Stunner on Hulk Hogan! But that didn't happen. The Rock came out next. No offense to The Rock, but he had no business being in the ring with Austin and Hogan. I still think at Wrestlemania 18 the big match should have been Hogan vs Austin instead of Hogan vs Rock. But that is just my opinion.

The opening match was Triple H vs Danial Bryan. The winner would go into the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton and Dave Batista. Triple H had the greatest entrance in the history of Wrestlemania, but lost the match to Daniel Bryan after a running knee to the face. It seemed like a short match, and a weak finish. Maybe I kind of wanted to see Triple H win and go to the main event and become Champion again. Honestly, I think they have dragged out the "Yes Movement" too long and I'm bored of it.

The six-man tag matched sucked. The Sheild won. I read that Billy Gunn was seriously injured after the power-bomb and was coughing up blood. It was cool to see Roman Reigns power-bomb two guys at once though. Still no Ryback!

The 30 man Andre The Giant battle royal was nothing special. Kofi Kingston did get through out over the turnbuckle and crash down the stairs, but he managed to keep his feet on the stairs and not touch the floor. That was cool. But the highlight was the finish, Cesaro picked up The Big Show walked him over to the ropes and through him out of the ring to win it all. It was great to see. I just feel like The Big Show should have won the Andre The Giant trophy.

John Cena defeated Bray Wyatt. I think that was a huge mistake. That did nothing to help Cena who is on his way down to a mid-card loser. However, a win over Cena at Wrestlemania would have made Bray Wyatt a huge star... though the same thing did nothing for The Miz's career lol.

The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar. The biggest match on the card. It was a disapointing match. Undertaker looked sick and too old to be in the ring. He was unable to do anything he used to do. Brock Lesnar is not a good enough wrestler to carry a match like this on his own. Lesnar looked lost like he never knew what he should do next, and all the moves looked forced and slow and weak. The saddest part was when Taker tried to do The Last Ride, but not only could he not lift Lesnar over his head, he didn't even really do a power-bomb, it looked like he just fell over and dropped Lesnar. Taker was barley able to do the Tombstone. Lesnar almost messed up the finish. I thought he was reversing the Tombstone to do one of his own, but instead flipped the Undertaker over to his other shoulder to set up a third F-5 but stumbled and almost dropped him runing the move. He was able to hold on and hit the move. He then pinned the Undertaker 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring, clean, with no cheating or outside interference. The streak officially ends at 21-1 and I think that is the last time we will ever see the Undertaker in a WWE ring again. #thankyoutaker

The intermission match before the main even was the Divas match like always. AJ Lee defending her Divas Championship against ever other WWE diva, all 13 of them at once. It was Vickies attempt to end AJ's reign as Divas Champion. But AJ won the match and retained her title.

The main event. Daniel Bryan vs Dave Batista vs the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. Daneil Bryan was already injured and worn down. But that didn't stop Orton and Batista from teaming up to hurt him more. Triple H and Stephanie tried to interfere to make sure Bryan didn't win. They even brought the dirty referee that cost Bryan the title about 6 months ago. Though it seemed like the fans didn't remember who he was. Daniel Bryan knocked out Triple H with his own sledgehammer and that took care of all the interference. But then Orton and Batista tried to do an insane move to finish Bryan once and for all. Batista stood on one anounce table while Orton waited on the ring steps next to the other anounce table. When Batista power-bombed Bryan, Orton dove over the table and caught Bryan with a backwards RKO crashing through the table. The problem was, as Orton went through the table he crashed back first over one of those TV monitors, right on the corner. It looked like he broke his back, blood was even running out of his back. The stretcher came to take Bryan away, but I thought Orton needed the stretcher more. Batista and Orton went on with the match. Bryan got off the stretcher and came back to the ring to win the match and become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion!
