Jack Tunney is the Anonymous Raw General Manager

Anonymous Raw General Manager
The term "Jack Tunney" was trending worldwide on Twitter last night during RAW after CM Punk mentioned him in a promo. Tunney was the company's figurehead president from 1984 through 1995.

Well its my theory that former WWE president Jack Tunney is now the Anonymous Raw General Manager!

Tunney was there for the contract signing of Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant, the contract signing of Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior, and he was the one that put the WWF Championship on the line for the winner of the Royal Rumble, which was Ric Flair.

Thus, Jack Tunney made the most important decisions, contract signings, and championship title decisions in the history of the WWF in the 1980s.

Jack Tunney
I think the Jack Tunney gimmick was great, and it was all a figure head to cover up that the announce Vince McMahon was actually the owner and the one in charge of the World Wrestling Federation. Vince chose to be the announce and wanted to hide the fact that he was the boss so he created this figure head. I think its the exact same thing they do today with the Raw and Smackdown General Managers. Currently, Teddy Long on Smackdown, and up until just recently, the Anonymous Raw General Manager, but now it seems to be COO Triple H, ironically just another figure head as Vince still runs the company. Although it sounds like Triple H is actually being groomed to take over for real one day.

WWF President
Personally, I think Teddy Long sucks, and I hated the anonymous general manager. I liked when they had Eric Bishoff and Paul Heyman, they were actually wrestling promoters in their own companies so it was believable that they would run a show. The best chemistry was between Eric Bishoff and Stephanie McMahon. And that was when Triple H was Raw Champion and Brock Lesner was Smackdown Champion. The high-point on both brands.

I always thought eventually Shane would run Raw and Stephanie would run Smackdown! It was great when Shane bought WCW and Stephanie bought ECW but they ruined that whole thing.

Ultimate Warrior vs Hulk Hogan

So who do you think was the best General Managers / Presidents etc??
