Jesse Sorensen Injury Report

A message from TNA President Dixie Carter regarding the condition of Jesse Sorensen: "Jesse Sorensen has sustained a C1 vertebrae fracture with spinal cord edema. He is slowly regaining feeling and movement in his arms and legs. He wants to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Once we speak to the neurosurgeon, we will pass on more details."

Jesse Sorensen Injury Update
According to Prowrestling.net, the injury that Jesse Sorensen suffered is a broken C1 vertebrae; the top vertebrae in his spine that connects the spine to the skull. The extent of the damage is unknown at this time.

Jesse Sorensen Expected To Make A Full Recovery
According to Prowrestling.net, Injured TNA wrestler Jesse Sorensen showed significant improvement on Monday after fracturing his C1 vertebrae at Sunday's Against All Odds pay-per-view. He is said to be getting the feeling back in his legs slowly but surely, and doctors now expect a full recovery.

Jesse Sorensen was injured during his match with Zema Ion at tonight's TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view. TNA President Dixie Carter posted the following on her Twitter: "Jesse Sorensen was injured in the opening match of tonight's PPV. He is currently being transported to the hospital. I will keep you updated"

The injury occurred when Ion hit Sorensen with an asai moonsault from the middle rope, planting his knees in Sorensen 's face. The referee threw up an X and the match was over, with officials running to the ring from the back.

TNA President Dixie Carter wrote the following update on Jesse Sorensen, who was injured in the opener at Against All Odds: "Jesse has sustained a neck injury and is currently undergoing tests at the hospital Will keep you updated."

Last night Jesse Sorensen spent the night in a Florida Intensive Care Unit. No updates have been made available but there has been a lot of concern after the neck injury he suffered against Zema Ion at last night's Against All Odds pay-per-view.

Prowrestling.net is reporting that Sorensen suffered a broken C-1 vertebrae, which connects the spine to the skull. It's a similar injury to the one that Rockies pitcher Juan Nicasio suffered last year.

According to a report on PWInsider, Sorensen has regained feeling in his arms and has been able to move them after losing feeling in his extremities last night. However, he has yet to regain movement in his legs, although he stated that he felt a tingling sensation in them earlier.

ProWrestling.net noted that Sorensen's spirits are "said to be high."
