I was disgusted while watching TNA Impact, more than usual, this week. After breaking Jessie Sorensen's neck during their PPV match, Zema Ion basically said that he was happy that he did it, that he would do it again, that he would do it to any other wrestler and even threatened to do the same thing to the announcer backstage.
That is so disgraceful. Wrestlers do not joke around about breaking each others' necks. They do not claim to have done it on purpose or threaten to do it again. If this punk rookie had any brains or class he would have walked on on Impact the following night, apologized for what happened and forfeited his #1 contenders spot for the X-Division Championship. Clearly he is still to reckless and green to be put in the ring with top talent.
In the WWE when a wrestler injures someone or is thought to be a risk for injuring someone they are removed from televisions and sent down to train some more. Take Brodus Clay for example. He hasn't been on TV in weeks, or Alex Riley who hasn't been on TV regularly in months. Both were labelled unsafe, and neither of them broken anyone's neck. If they did they would have been demoted and not on TV bragging about it and being given PPV matches and title shots.
I liked Lance Storm's post about the subject...

Thought the Zima Ion promo on Impact was tasteless and unneeded. #WrongKindOfHeat
