I reported before that there were rumours that Goldust had been fired. Well his profile had been moved from the Raw section to the Alumni section on the WWE website. That is usually an indication that a wrestler is no longer with the company.
As far as the reason for his leaving, whether he was fired or quit, the only information I can find is that it all has to do with an undisclosed incident at the April 24 SmackDown taping in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Whatever happened there led to his contract being terminated.
He had been working behind the scenes since suffering a shoulder injury in December 2010.
