Following his immense success in the Olympics at the 1996 summer games in Atlanta, Kurt Angle took his skill in amateur wrestling into a renowned career in the world of professional wrestling in both the WWE and TNA.
During his time with the WWE, Angle had 11 different title reigns that included four WWE Championship runs along with being crowned the winner of the 2000 King of the Ring tournament.
After joining TNA in 2006, Angle would again have a great deal of success in the ring, as he won the heavyweight gold medal at the Olympics.
In a reply to one of his followers on Twitter Wednesday night, the former Olympic Gold Medalist gave his personal time frame on how much longer he will be stepping into the squared circle.
Even though likely ending his career with TNA, most wrestling fans, including myself, would love to see Angle make one last run in the company that made him a star in the wrestling world: the WWE.
It would make for a perfect ending to his career if he could go out following a big-time win at WrestleMania 30. Perhaps he would return on a limited schedule like Brock Lesnar with his current deal with the company.
With only about three more years left in his professional wrestling career until his retirement in December of 2014, do you see Kurt Angle wrestling after the date that’s been labeled as when he will hang up his boots for good?
