Smackdown Report

This week's Smackdown was pretty weak. I think Smakdown is turning into nothing more than a replay of what happened on Raw and a commercial for the next PPV. There are only a couple short matches and most of them are just rematches from Raw.

The main event was a rematch between Sheamus and Mark Henry. Sheamus won. This was all to build up the match between Sheamus and Daniel Bryan which will be 2 out of 3 falls.

They were building up the Big Show vs Cody Rhodes match at Extreme Rules which will be a stipulation match and that stipulation will be determined by a spin of the old Raw Roulette wheel.

They had an interview with Randy Orton to build up his feud with Kane.

Ryback crushed another jobber. That was my favourite part of the show. But I think its time for him to start facing real superstars. The jobbers are too weak and its embarrassing. Ryback also looked sloppy in this match. I liked when he hit the guy with a big boot but kept his foot on his throat and turned it into a choke. But I also think he should start winning matches with different finishers. He needs to try out some new moves. Maybe develop a submission hold and win a couple matches by submission. They should even  try some other options, like have the referee stop the match because he has knockout his opponent or injured his opponent. Have him win by a count-out because his opponent ran away in the middle of the match. Have him win by disqualification when his opponent gets frustrated and uses a weapon like a steel chair. Just make sure he keeps winning. Keep the undefeated streak alive. They want him to be the next Goldberg, and they want to compete with TNA's Crimsion with an undefeated streak. But he should also start winning titles. I would have Ryback call out Ezekiel Jackson and challenge him for the old ECW Championship. Then he could call out Ted DiBiase for the Million Dollar Championship. Maybe he could call out Zack Ryder for his Internet Championship. They need some new and exciting ideas.
