Beth Phoenix About To Retire

According to Wrestling Inc. WWE Diva Beth Phoenix is reportedly on her way out of the company with plans to retire in October. Here is this official statement.

WWE Diva Elizabeth Carolan, a.k.a Beth Phoenix, is reportedly finishing up with the company shortly. According to a source, Phoenix will be retiring in October.

I think most fans of the WWE would agree that Beth Phoenix is the top Diva in the WWE when it comes to pure wrestling ability. When you combine her beauty and power you get the perfect Diva and it's unfortunate that the WWE will now lose their top performer in the women's division.

Beth has been with the WWE since 2006 when she started as an ally of WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus in her feud with Mickie James. Since then Phoenix has gone on to win the retired WWE Women's Championship 3 times as well as becoming the second longest-reigning WWE Divas Champion in it's short history.

Beth recently returned to action on last Monday's Raw after an over a month hiatus due to a death in the family. No one knows why Beth wants to retire, but one could assume that the loss of one of her loved ones could attribute towards her decision.

One thing is for certain, Beth Phoenix's presence in a WWE ring will be missed with the below average Women's Roster the WWE already processes. Beth will go on to join a large group of Divas whom have left WWE over the past couple of years including The Bellas, Maxine, Gail Kim, Mickie James, Marie Kanellis, and maybe eventually Kelly Kelly.
