Royal Rumble 25th Anniversary

At the 25th Anniversary of the Royal Rumble, Dolph Ziggler will have another opportunity to become the ultimate showoff when he challenges CM Punk for the WWE Championship with Mr. Laurinaitis as the Special Guest Referee.

So far it has not been announced who Daniel Bryan will be defending his World Championship against, or if he even will. No other Championship matches have been announced either. All that has been announced is that they will be returning to the traditional 30 Man Rumble, rather than the 40 Man Rumble they tried last year. 

Because it's the 25 anniversary of the Royal Rumble I think expectations will be high that this will be a very memorable Rumble. Some are expecting the Undertaker to make his return at the Rumble which would be amazing. I think he is currently leading the poll on my blog where I asked who you think is going to win the Rumble. My pick is still Chris Jericho. I think that will best set up the match with CM Punk for the WWE Championship. I also have to imagine that Triple H will be in the Rumble as well if he is going to be building up for his match at Wrestlemania with the Undertaker. 

The only ones that won't be there that we know for sure so far are Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton who are both out with injuries. However, it was revealed that Randy Orton was scheduled to win the Rumble because it is in his hometown of St. Louis. Now that he can't compete they have to re-write the finish of the Rumble as well as the plans regarding the winner of the Rumble.
